Okay so I have packed my backpack for the last time on Canadian Soil. This is the third and final place I will stay in Vancouver after leaving my apartment Aug 30th! I leave for my sister's tomorrow and as I write this I am getting some tears in my eyes...I mean I guess it is to be expected I don't know if everyone gets it but I don't feel like I am just leaving for a year I feel it is more permanent I don't know where I will be/go and how long but it does feel like a real true goodbye to Canada for a long while.

I feel so exhausted by all the preparations I have actually lost track of what I am doing. I had my second farewell party tonight and now just a few last minute errands and the transfer of the tile of my car which I have owned for 14 years and then I will be off to my sister's. I think, you know, that I am actually holding back getting excited as it feels so surreal right now. I almost feel like it is all over now and I can return to my normal life....oh man am I in for a shock...this really is a journey and a journey of faith at that. I feel so unconnected right now like I am caught between two worlds and don't know which one I belong in.

When I watch this video it reminds me of what I may be in for...enjoy!
