Defying Gravity

Okay this is it...the day I defy gravity at 900km/hour to take my epic trip of over 25hours to land in South Africa tomorrow night! I am about 30mins from leaving my sister’s house for the airport and I am so calm and just peaceful and really, really ready.

I have been packing my bags for about six months so those are finally done! And man I am sure I am taking WAY too much stuff but at least I feel confifent that I will have what I need and can give away what I don’t!

I have my new carry-on which is part of the set of the new suitcase set I broke down to get yesterday as I just was definitely not fitting everything in a backpack and a small suitcase. I have two extra pairs of undies as well as extra socks, a change of clothes, about 2 weeks of vitamins and a bunch of pain meds(assume my back will not fair well on the plane) I have a bible, a journal, an ipod with some awesome tunes and that’s about it....it feels so simple today I just feel like I am meant to be on that flight today and meant to move to a new phase of my life. I have about 90lbs of belongs coming with me, my faith and belief in god, and an open heart and mind to whatever may cross my path!

Be blessed today we have sooooo much and others have so little!

Thank you to everyone who has helped to get me to this place!

Mucho kisses... signing off from North America!

J
