My Name is Justine Pearson, I became a Christian in October of 2008. Just 3 months later in January 2009 God called me to cross-cultural missions in Africa. I spent 10 months in 2009-2010 in Southern Africa. Currently, in 2011 I am in South Africa and Zimbabwe. God is doing amazing work here as I surrender daily to be used by him. Here are the stories of my adventures...

Testimony - God Loves Marriage

One of the things God has called me to do in South Africa is counsel and pray with women to heal birth trauma. When I met with Buhle she opened up about her husband's adultery. We prayed for forgiveness for him and the women involved. 4 weeks later she testified that her husband is now coming home at night and wants to build their family. A text message i got from here read, "Hello Justine, i want to tank God to bring you young lady to us. To me as a mother you changed my life. Tank you for yr prayer.please go ahead to do a beautiful work God bless you. Tank you."

Testimony - God Heals

I met Tryphina as the interpreter to my prenatal class in South Africa. Having had three children and being pinched, slapped, and berated while giving birth at a government hospital she had much pain and many questions. She thought her body did not work correctly and she feared having another child. We met for a prayer session where we cried out for forgiveness for all involved, her husband, and her parents. She had been trying to get pregnant but could not. 6 weeks later she was pregnant, her marriage had more love, the trauma was erased, and her dad called her to apologize for not being the father he should have and asked her how he could make it up to her. God is so faithful!

Wanting to Help (Part duex)

So after my last disappointed post about wanting to help yet having doors closed I got an email from my sister's friend in Arizona who is one of the main planners is a monthly and yearly charity event called "Live Love Day". She has offered to fly me to Arizona to help her with the annual event and to stay with her family for a month(the 31days I felt I should be somewhere on mission for)

After my last post I said..."okay God I WILL wait on you"...I did it a bit with a huff but nonetheless he honoured my willingness and now I am going to Arizona. I thought "okay God I will wait but there is only 2 weeks left until Nov 1st when I thought I needed to go away for"

Well after speaking with Sandy I clued in the annual event is Oct 23 and this was last Thursday so I had five days to finish what I am doing in Olympia and get on a plane to Arizona!

GOD'S WILL...GOD'S WAY!!!

Sandy and her family are generously flying me in and housing me for a month! I will fly down with my sister and Samuel and they will stay for one week!

The other cool(only God) thing is that Sandy has been making reusable sanitary pads for Africa she had made hundreds and has a whole bunch cut out and ready to go...so she will be able to teach me while I am there how to make them!

Sandy and her family have recently adopted two children from Ethiopia so I will feel right at home with my African brother and sister!

God is Good...he just sometimes does not let us have it our way, with our plans!
